The AWS SDK for JavaScript v2 is a library for interacting with AWS services from web browsers and Node.js applications. It provides a comprehensive set of APIs for AWS services, enabling developers to build applications that leverage AWS infrastructure. However, this version reached end-of-support on September 8, 2025, and users are encouraged to migrate to the newer v3 version.
