The **DynamoDB Document SDK** ( `dynamodb-doc` ) is a lightweight JavaScript wrapper around the low‑level AWS SDK that lets developers work with native JavaScript types (strings, numbers, booleans, objects, arrays, etc.) instead of DynamoDB’s attribute‑type syntax. It handles automatic marshalling/unmarshalling, provides helpers for sets and condition objects, and is aimed at Node.js (and browser) developers who want a simpler, more idiomatic way to read and write to Amazon DynamoDB. (The library is now deprecated in favor of the official `AWS.DynamoDB.DocumentClient`.)
