A tiny, unmaintained Node.js utility that converts RFC‑4122 UUID strings to 16‑byte Buffers (and back) for fast parsing/unparsing. It’s aimed at JavaScript developers who need low‑level, binary‑compatible handling of UUIDs, especially those who relied on the now‑removed helpers from the `node-uuid` library.
