DTSM is a command‑line utility for managing TypeScript declaration files (*.d.ts). It lets developers fetch the DefinitelyTyped repository (or any other git repo), search for specific definitions, install them together with their dependencies into a local `typings` folder, and keep a `dtsm.json` manifest that can be used to reinstall or update the exact versions; it also supports linking definitions found in npm or Bower packages. The tool is aimed at TypeScript developers who need a simple way to vend, version‑lock, and bundle external type definitions for their projects.
