TSLint is an extensible static analysis tool that checks TypeScript code for readability, maintainability, and functionality errors, offering extensive core rules, custom lint rules, and formatters. It supports inline rule disabling, automatic fixing of violations, and integration with various editors and build systems. However, TSLint is now deprecated, with a migration path to ESLint recommended.
