This repository was a fork of MetaMask designed to support plugins, known as Snaps, which allow for extensibility and customization of the wallet. It was aimed at developers interested in building or testing MetaMask extensions, but has since been deprecated in favor of the official Snaps development in the main MetaMask repository.
