Raspi‑GPIO is a Node.js library (written in TypeScript) that gives JavaScript code direct access to the Raspberry Pi’s GPIO pins, providing simple DigitalInput and DigitalOutput classes with support for pull‑up/down resistors and change events. It’s aimed at developers building hardware projects—especially NodeBots or other IoT prototypes—on Raspberry Pi boards running Raspbian and Node 6+.
