cross‑spawn‑with‑kill is a tiny Node.js wrapper around the popular **cross‑spawn** library that adds a cross‑platform `kill()` method to the spawned child process. It lets developers start commands (e.g., build tools, scripts) with `cross‑spawn` and later terminate them reliably on any OS, filling a missing feature of the original package.
