serve‑markdown‑it (called **sermit**) is a configurable static‑file web server that automatically renders Markdown files using markdown‑it, applying optional plugins and a customizable HTML template. It’s aimed at developers who want a quick, configurable way to serve a local directory (or single file) as a browsable site with live Markdown rendering, file‑explorer view, and optional raw‑file serving.
