This addon makes jQuery available in Ember projects and provides the mechanism for jQuery integration when enabled. It's designed for Ember developers who need jQuery in their applications, particularly those working with Ember.js v2.16 or above and Ember CLI v2.13 or above. The package allows for optional jQuery usage, following Ember's move to make jQuery optional as part of RFC294.
