Node‑Casbin is an open‑source, production‑ready library for Node.js (and the browser) that enforces access control using a variety of models such as ACL, RBAC and ABAC. It lets developers load policies from files or databases, query and modify permissions programmatically, and integrate the enforcement check (`enforcer.enforce`) into any JavaScript application. It’s aimed at developers who need a flexible, language‑agnostic authorization solution for web services, APIs, and server‑side or client‑side JavaScript projects.
