env‑var‑helpers is a tiny utility library that reads common environment variables (e.g., NODE_ENV, LOG_LEVEL, RELEASE_ENV, TEST_MODE, etc.) and exports ready‑to‑use, case‑insensitive booleans and resolved string values such as `isDev`, `isProd`, `isVerbose`, `releaseEnvShort`, `nodeEnv`, etc. It’s aimed at JavaScript/TypeScript developers who want a simple, isomorphic way to conditionally enable features, logging, or configuration based on deployment or test settings without writing repetitive parsing code.
