This project, now deprecated, classifies Node.js dependencies as CommonJS (CJS) or ES Module (ESM) packages based on how Webpack would interpret them. It was originally designed to help resolve module format issues, particularly for TypeScript-to-CJS/ESM transpilation, by analyzing package.json metadata.
