vigour‑fs is a drop‑in replacement for Node’s built‑in **fs** module that adds convenience helpers and extra features while keeping the original API compatible. It lets you create missing directories automatically, read/write files directly from HTTP/HTTPS URLs with retry/redirect handling, and provides JSON‑specific utilities (readJSON, writeJSON, editJSON) plus a recursive remove function. The library targets Node developers who want a more ergonomic file‑system API without leaving the familiar **fs** interface.
