CDC is a JavaScript library (also distributable as a Docker image) that lets service consumers define contract files describing expected request/response schemas, generate a mock provider for local testing, and verify those contracts against a real provider implementation. It’s aimed at developers building micro‑services or APIs who want to practice consumer‑driven contract testing without pulling in larger frameworks.
