CASL is an isomorphic authorization JavaScript library that restricts what resources a user can access, designed to be incrementally adoptable and easily scale between simple claim-based and fully featured subject and attribute-based authorization. It allows managing and sharing permissions across UI components, API services, and database queries, with integrations for major frontend frameworks and backend ORMs.
