The repository delivers the TypeScript SDK and internal libraries that ShipEngine uses to support developers building Connect apps—providing type definitions, validation, testing, and runtime utilities. While the package is now deprecated and maintained only for internal testing, it was intended for Connect‑app developers (who should instead use the newer @shipengine/connect package).
