Primer Primitives is a design‑token library that stores color, typography, spacing and motion values in JSON, exposing them as CSS variables for GitHub’s design system. It’s aimed at developers and designers who need a lightweight, theme‑able foundation of visual primitives to build consistent UI components and custom theming in web projects.
