IPFS Desktop is a lightweight graphical client that bundles a full IPFS node with an intuitive file manager, peer browser, and OS‑menu integration, letting users interact with IPFS without using the command line. It’s aimed at newcomers who want an easy entry point to decentralized storage as well as experienced users who need quick, graphical access to their IPFS node and its contents.
