typescript-eslint-parser-for-extra-files is an experimental ESLint custom parser that provides type information for Vue, Svelte, and Astro files when used with TypeScript. It solves the limitation of `@typescript-eslint/parser` which treats imports of non-TypeScript files as `any` type, making it ideal for developers working with these frameworks who need proper TypeScript type checking in their ESLint configuration.
