xkite‑core is the underlying Node.js library that powers **xkite**, a developer‑focused testing environment for Apache Kafka. It lets you programmatically configure, launch, pause, and tear down a full Docker‑Compose stack (Kafka, Zookeeper, DBs, Grafana, Prometheus, Jupyter, Spark, etc.) locally or on a remote xkite server, and provides ready‑to‑use connection details for your application code. The package is aimed at developers building, prototyping, and testing Kafka‑centric applications.
