sfdx‑collate is a Salesforce DX plugin that lets developers and admins compare and merge complex metadata—especially Permission Sets, Profiles and Sharing Rules—across different orgs. It generates CSV diffs (with several comparison modes) that can be edited and then rebuilt into clean XML metadata, and it also includes a helper to fetch a package.xml from an org. The tool is aimed at Salesforce engineers who need a quick, CLI‑based way to reconcile and tidy permission‑related metadata.
