Recaster is a Node.js library that bundles a variety of source‑code transpilers (e.g., Jade, LESS, TypeScript, CoffeeScript, Markdown, ES‑6 generator regenerator, etc.), minifiers and optional gzip compression into a single API. It lets developers feed files or raw strings, automatically converts them to browser‑ready HTML, CSS or JavaScript, minifies the output, and returns the result via a promise—useful for build pipelines, web servers, or any project that needs on‑the‑fly asset processing.
