KnitJS is a command‑line toolset for managing JavaScript monorepos (multi‑package repositories). It lets teams keep a single root `package.json`, speeds up installs with Yarn, auto‑discovers missing/unused dependencies and provides built‑in build, stitch and publish steps (CommonJS, ES6 and UMD), while remaining extensible for custom workflows. It’s aimed at developers who maintain large collections of inter‑dependent Node or browser libraries/applications and want a lightweight alternative to tools like Lerna.
