The @kitschpatrol/tokei package provides Node‑JS bindings to the Rust‑based Tokei tool, allowing JavaScript/TypeScript programs to quickly count lines of code, comments and blanks across hundreds of languages. It exposes asynchronous `tokei()` (and a synchronous `tokeiSync()`) functions with rich options for inclusion/exclusion, language filtering, hidden files and per‑file reports, making it useful for developers, build scripts, or CLI tools that need fast code‑statistics without leaving the Node ecosystem.
