This project is a Storybook MCP Addon monorepo that enables AI agents to work more efficiently with Storybook by providing a Model Context Protocol server that exposes UI component information and development workflows. It contains two main packages: a standalone MCP library for serving Storybook component knowledge and a Storybook addon that runs an MCP server within your Storybook dev server. The project is designed for developers and contributors who want to enhance AI agent capabilities with Storybook, allowing them to access component documentation, stories, and development tools through the MCP protocol.
