Ganache CLI (formerly ethereumjs testrpc) is a fast, in‑memory Ethereum RPC client that simulates a full blockchain locally, providing all standard JSON‑RPC methods plus testing utilities such as snapshots, time‑travel, and deterministic accounts. It is aimed at Ethereum developers and test suites who need a lightweight, configurable personal blockchain for rapid development, debugging, and automated testing of smart contracts.
