This library provides functionality for handling Ethereum accounts, including external accounts and contracts, and simplifies reading and writing account data to and from the Ethereum state trie. It has been deprecated in favor of `ethereumjs-util` v7.0.6 onwards and is primarily intended for developers working with Ethereum blockchain data structures or building tools that interact with Ethereum accounts.
