Byte‑Length is a tiny, browser‑friendly JavaScript library that accurately calculates the number of bytes a string occupies (e.g., handling emojis, full‑width characters, etc.). It’s aimed at developers who need a lightweight alternative to Node’s Buffer.byteLength for client‑side code or any environment where pulling in the full Buffer shim would be overkill.
