`ember-one-way-controls` is a deprecated Ember.js addon that provided form components like input, textarea, checkbox, radio, and select with one-way bindings to address cursor jumping issues in older Ember versions. It was created by DockYard for developers building Ember applications who needed reliable one-way form controls before Ember 2.3.1 fixed the underlying bug. The project is now deprecated in favor of using native HTML elements with Ember's built-in bindings or the extracted `ember-one-way-select` addon.
