**digs-dev** is a small Node‑CLI package that centralises common development tools (dotfiles, Gruntfile, ESLint config, etc.) for all *digsjs* projects. By adding a `prepublish` script that runs `digs-dev install`, each package automatically gets its devDependencies upgraded, the shared configuration files symlinked into the repo, and the appropriate entries added to `.gitignore`, keeping development setups consistent without polluting production code. It’s aimed at developers working on any of the dig‑related npm packages.
