`@mapeo/crypto` is a Node .js library that provides the key‑management, encryption, de‑cryption and signing utilities used by the Mapeo offline‑first mapping platform. It lets developers generate and derive identity and project key pairs, create and decode secure project‑invite messages, and encrypt/decrypt local data, making it essential for anyone building or extending Mapeo‑based applications.
