The Marine Licensing Frontend is a GDS-compliant application under development to replace the Marine Case Management System (MCMS), currently enabling the creation of licence exemption notifications. It is designed for use by both the public and internal teams, offering authenticated access and integration with Defra ID and Entra ID for secure operations. The project is maintained by the UK Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (Defra) and is built with modern web development practices, including Docker and SonarCloud for deployment and quality assurance.
