**level‑path‑index** is a Node.js library that builds secondary indexes in LevelDB for objects stored in a hierarchical “materialized‑path” structure. It lets developers efficiently query items by property values (e.g., color=red) scoped to all descendants or only direct children of a given path, providing both stream‑ and pull‑stream‑based APIs.
