Promissory is a Node.js library that transforms regular Node functions into ones that return ES6 Promises, offering an alternative to thunk-based flow control. It is a direct port of `tj/thunkify`, designed for developers using generator-based flow control or those who prefer promises over callbacks. The library is tested on Node.js versions 0.10 to 5 and requires a Promise polyfill for Node 0.10.
