Co-pg is a promise wrapper for node-postgres that enables the use of co-routines and async/await with the PostgreSQL driver. It provides a seamless integration with the existing pg API, adding promise-based methods like `connectAsync`, `queryAsync`, and their aliases `connectPromise` and `queryPromise`.
