Babylon, now known as `@babel/parser`, is a JavaScript parser used by Babel to convert code into an abstract syntax tree (AST). It is designed for developers working with JavaScript tooling, such as transpilers, linters, or code analyzers, who need to parse and manipulate JavaScript code programmatically. The project has been moved into the main Babel mono-repo for easier development and maintenance.
