The @atomist/sdm‑local package lets developers run a **Software Delivery Machine** on their own workstation. It installs a CLI, git hooks and a local listener so that every push or command can automatically trigger builds, lint fixes, code transforms, generators, tests or deployments—just like the cloud‑based Atomist SDM but without any external service. It is aimed at individual engineers or small teams who want to automate and standardise their code‑delivery workflow locally.
