The **appium‑selendroid‑driver** package provides the Appium integration layer for the Selendroid Android automation framework. It sets up and proxies Appium sessions to Selendroid, handling device‑side signing, session initialization, and a set of mobile‑specific commands that Selendroid doesn’t support, enabling developers and QA engineers to write Appium tests for legacy (pre‑Android‑4.2) or hybrid Android apps using Selendroid as the back‑end.
