The Compound Protocol is an Ethereum-based smart contract system for decentralized lending and borrowing of crypto assets. It allows users to supply capital (Ether or ERC-20 tokens) to earn interest through cTokens, or borrow assets by providing collateral, with interest rates algorithmically determined based on market utilization. This project is designed for developers and DeFi participants looking to interact with or integrate lending and borrowing functionality into their applications.
