Simprof is a simple code profiler for JavaScript that allows developers to measure and analyze the performance of specific code sections. It's designed for developers who need to identify performance bottlenecks in their Node.js applications by providing detailed timing information for nested and sequential code blocks. The profiler is disabled by default and can be enabled programmatically or by sending a SIGUSR2 signal to the process.
