yUglify is a Node.js utility that wraps UglifyJS (for JavaScript) and cssmin (for CSS) with the default YUI Compressor settings, preserving license comments, handling trailing semicolons and line‑ending quirks. It provides both a simple command‑line interface and a programmatic API for minifying files, and is mainly intended for YUI’s build tool Shifter and other developers who want YUI‑compatible minification out of the box.
