Basic Polkadot/Substrate UI for interacting with a Polkadot and Substrate node. This is the main user-facing application, allowing access to all features available on Substrate chains.
storage. To build the app you need to have [Node.js](https://nodejs.org/en/) installed on your machine. 1. Clone the repo locally, via `git clone https://github.com/polkadot-js/apps <optional local path>` 2. Ensure that you have a recent LTS version of Node.js, for development purposes [Node >= 16](https://nodejs.org/en/) is recommended. 3. Ensure that you have a recent version of Yarn, for development purposes [Yarn >= 1.22](https://yarnpkg.com/docs/install) is required. 4. Install the dependencies by running `yarn install --frozen-lockfile` 5. Run `yarn run build && yarn run electron:linux` (or `electron:darwin` or `electron:win.exe` depending on your platform) 6. After build is finished, the `.exe` file will be in the `packages/apps/dist_electron` directory
