This project is a Node.js implementation of the ut_pex BitTorrent protocol (BEP11) for peer exchange, designed to facilitate more efficient peer discovery in BitTorrent swarms. It's primarily used by WebTorrent and works in both Node.js and browser environments via browserify, extending the bittorrent-protocol with peer exchange capabilities.
