**transyl** is a lightweight utility that compares two symbols (characters) and determines whether they look alike or are otherwise similar. It’s aimed at developers or anyone needing a quick way to detect visually‑confusable characters—useful for tasks such as sanitizing input, preventing homograph attacks, or simplifying text‑processing pipelines.
