Portel is a lightweight utility that converts “non‑object” data structures (e.g., plain strings, numbers, or raw records) into proper JavaScript objects, making them easier to manipulate in code. It’s aimed at developers who need a quick, command‑line‑driven way to normalize disparate data formats during build, test, or deployment pipelines, especially when using the accompanying Flxc, Rsetmod, and Selenium‑based tooling.
