dxcom is a tiny utility that launches any specified command as a background daemon, handling the usual daemonisation steps (forking, detaching from the terminal, PID file handling, etc.). It’s aimed at developers and system administrators who need a simple way to run long‑running services or scripts without manually writing daemonisation code.
