Rolldown-vite is a temporary fork of Vite that replaces Rollup and esbuild with Rolldown, a Rust-based JavaScript bundler for maximum performance. It serves as a drop-in replacement for testing Rolldown with Vite and is intended to help users migrate from Vite 7 to Vite 8. Once Rolldown's changes are merged into the main Vite repository, this package will no longer be needed.
