Verdaccio/ui houses the legacy front‑end for Verdaccio 5, the open‑source private npm registry. It provides the web UI that users interact with to browse and manage packages, but the code has been deprecated and moved to the main Verdaccio repository (see `packages/plugins/ui-theme`). The project is intended for developers and operators who run a Verdaccio registry and need the bundled UI.
