Slack Location Manager is a CLI tool that automatically updates a user’s Slack status based on their current geographic location (e.g., home, office) by checking the IP address and setting an appropriate emoji via the Slack API. It’s aimed at teams (like F1V) and individual users who want daily, hands‑free status updates and is installed globally via npm, then run as a scheduled cron job.
